Our Story

Austin and Delaney's love story began... online! Specifically, on an app called "Coffee Meets Bagel." When she matched with Austin, Delaney had only been on the app for 24 hours. Austin on the other hand... well, let's just say it was a bit longer. All of that changed on May 3rd, 2016 when they met at Hellbent Brewing in Lake City. To both of their surprise, it was trivia and grilled cheese night. Delaney had wine and Austin had cider. Delaney confessed her obsession with Taylor Swift and Austin activated his car alarm on the way out. Delaney asked Austin if he was a serial killer and Austin was hooked.

Before they knew it, they were splitting time between his apartment in Seattle and her apartment in Mill Creek (and usually splitting a bottle of wine, too). They traveled to Cannon Beach, Fairbanks, Maui, and London - further cementing their love of staying in small rooms together. After two years, they made the ultimate small-room decision and moved into an apartment near Greenlake, together. 

Fast forward to July 20th, 2019. The scene: Austin down on one knee, Delaney's sister hiding behind a tree with a camera, and Delaney, emphatically saying YES. As they say, the rest is history.
